Seems to help with my husbands sinus problems but we found that when the furnace is on it doesn't keep the humidity at the level it is set at. My husband still experiences some sinus problems at those times. We have it in a 600 sq. ft. bedroom and was a little disapointed in the fact that it is suppoes to have a coverage of 750 sq. ft. as advertised. As far as an Air Washer goes, when the humidity is low and the Air-O-Swiss isn't running it isn't washing the air.
