I recently purchased this unit because of the need for a humidifier in my bedroom.It was very dry and snoring had become a problem.After 1 week of use, i must say that I have never been so well rested.The snoring is practically gone and I can breath through my nose again.The unit does make some noise, but it's not that bad.The humming is actually nice to sleep to.I am very happy with this unit.The reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it goes through water a lot quicker than advertised.If I run it on medium, it's dry within 12 hours.It's not too much of a problem, but it would be nice if it lasted for a little longer.
