I bought a package of these at a hardware store (it was the only brand they carried). The first belt only lasted a few *vacuumings*. The next time I started the vacuum, I smelled the burnt belt scent. It was melting and stretching and then broke. I have put on the second belt and am hopeful, but it doesn't look it will last too long either. To compare, the original belt that came with the vacuum lasted over ten years of occasional vacuum use.
