I have owned this unit for several years.The only thing I have had to replace is the water tank, after I dropped it.Opps.And the ionic silver anti-microbial sticks, several times, once at the end of each winter season.The unit is quiet.It humidifies my large master bedroom on the "low" setting.To clean, once a year, I soak the blade unit in 50 percent white vinegar for an hour, turning a few times, and then throw it in the dish washer.No fuss, no problem.
