Unlike the other commenter, mine works, but it makes so much noise when it is running. I've had other warm mist humidifiers that make a nice "white noise" gurgling sound, but this one pops, hisses, sounds like an old Model-T from cartoons. Much too noisy to sleep with in the same room. My other complaint is that the tank is too small. It will not last 24 hours on the high setting. Barely 8 hours I would say.
